What is a microlight?

The microlight is the lightest and most durable sport flying machine. It was developed in the 70's when a hang-gliding pilot attached a small motor and propellor onto his glider's wing.

Also known as a trike, the microlight is based on a hang-glider wing, with the occupants sitting below, one behind the other.
